Stats: Age 25, sand brown hair, blue eyes.
History: Had to flee from his home country, Saaher, after the war begun. Not very politically orientated, but still belonged to a group of people who questioned the ethics of the Church and the State.
Personality: Driven by his quest to find some meaning in his life. Thoughtful, diplomatic, blends easily into any kind of group. Practical, sometimes depressed. Interested in different cultures and history. Never gives up once he's set his mind on a goal. Likes: Good food, conversations with friends, exploring the world. Dislikes: People who think they're better than the ones who don't share their believes.
 EL
Stats: Age 23, red hair, green eyes.
History: Was an orphan and spent her childhood living in a monastery, raised by nuns. Considers that time as "Not too bad, really". At the age of 16 she ran away with a man who was an actor in a travelling theatre group and spent the two following years travelling with the theatre. After that she travelled around by herself for two years, ending up in Port Randos, a pleasant town on an Island near the southern continent where most of DR takes place. After that, she moved from place to place, working in several random places.
Personality: Positive, lives to the moment, is curious about different cultures. Also very practical and matter-of-factly. Likes: music, books, theatre, nature. Dislikes: Dates, obnoxious people.
 NIZNA
Stats: Age 17, black hair, blue eyes,
History: Was born in a rich family and has led a protected life in the City of Tinaret. Is currently on the run with her cousin Mayna (May). They're visiting temples of the New Moon studying science, magic and philosophy.
Personality: Is quite brave, because she's often too innocent and knows too little about the real world to be afraid of things. Very intelligent, fast to learn new things. Likes: horses, cats, meeting new people. Dislikes: Ants, cold.
 MAY
Stats: Age 26. Blonde hair. Gray eyes.
History: Nizna's cousin. A member of an underground political movement in Tinaret.
Personality: Opinionated, strict, reserved, protective over Nizna. Is afraid to show her feelings, but when she does, she feels very strong about those things. Loyal. A girl of action when the situation demands. Likes: Good food, long conversations with friends. Dislikes: Indifference.
 IAN
Stats: Age 21, dark hair, blue eyes.
History: A refugee from Merisand. Would have joined the army and fought against the Warlord, but was too young at the time.
Personality: Doesn't feel very comfortable living on the southern continent, misses his now- invaded homeland. Very loyal to his friends. Likes: drinking, to tame wild animals, to get back home, to do physical work. Dislikes: The Warlord, heat.
 STARRY
Stats: Age unknown. (35?) Dark hair, brown eyes.
History: Not much is known about him. Propably a spy, involved in politics, but on whose side?
Personality: Has a gambler's wicked personality. Is possessed by some inner demons. Makes a jolly company, can talk his way out of almost anything.
 OLD MAN
Stats: Age unknown. Brown/gray hair. Gray eyes.
History: Wowed never to speak again until...
Personality: Humble, quiet, hard working.
 DATE GUY
Stats: Age 24, dark brown hair, brown eyes.
History: Has worked all of his life in the Date Camp.
Personality: Easy-going, friendly, helpful.
